Returns
You have rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The summary below sits alongside those rights, not in place of them.
Change of mind, unopened bottles
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you would like to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the bottle to us. The bottle must be unopened and the hygiene seal intact. To start a return, email hello@revitalroots.co.uk with your order number.
Once we receive the returned bottle, we will refund the full purchase price within 14 days to your original payment method. You pay return postage; we recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48 for proof of postage.
Why opened bottles cannot be returned
Under regulation 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed, are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel. A scalp serum is one of those goods. If you have unsealed the bottle, we cannot accept a change-of-mind return.
Faulty or damaged bottles
If your bottle arrives damaged, leaking, contaminated or otherwise faulty, please email hello@revitalroots.co.uk within 14 days of delivery with a photograph. We will replace the bottle or refund you in full at our cost. Faulty product returns are not affected by the hygiene exception above. Your statutory rights remain.
How to return
Email hello@revitalroots.co.uk with your order number and the reason for return. We will reply with return instructions. Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned bottle, or earlier if we have agreed a refund without return.
